Our amazing show is run entirely by volunteers and, as our show grows, we need more hands on deck! If you’re keen to help in any way, even just for a few hours at show time or to help pack up afterward, we would love to hear from you! There are all sorts of jobs that need doing, whatever your interest or availability!
Let us know what interests you! Do you have any relevant experience or special skills? Perhaps you just want to help with a part of the show you particularly enjoy, whether that’s horses, sheep, poultry, cattle, the pavilion or our huge “free zone” filled with fun activities for kids, from woodwork to our fun Farm Shed. You might be a handy man or woman, or just happy to chip in with whatever needs doing especially in the very busy days (and long nights!) setting up the Pavilion and the Showgrounds in the week before the Show - and packing up afterwards! Many hands make light work and whatever time you can give all helps.
We particularly welcome passionate people with ideas, enthusiasm and lots of energy who aren’t afraid of hard work! We have parents who come with their children and teenagers to help, friends who chip in together, and plenty of us who’ve made friends by just coming along and being introduced to our welcoming show family. We would love to hear all your ideas too, especially from younger show fans so we can keep the Kyneton Show relevant for all ages into the future.
